I have been teaching Montessori elementary for 11 years.
I am a certified AMS Montessori teacher (6-9 class, 1997).
I have a standard Texas public school teacher certification (PK-6, ESL, GT)
I am married to Tom Caperton who is also a teacher. We have two children and their spouses and 6 grandchildren. We spend most of the summer playing with them.

I have lived in Huntsville for 1 year.
Before that my husband was a pilot in the Air Force, then a paralegal, and I was a mom, then a piano/Kindermusik teacher. We have lived in upstate New York, California, England, Shreveport, and Houston.
